F.I.R.S.T. Programs: A Summary
Flagstaff’s Initiative to Relationship and Spousal Trauma (F.I.R.S.T.) Society was originally created to support a police/counsellor team to follow up police interventions in incidents of domestic violence. An RCMP officer and the FFCS Counsellor became the F.I.R.S.T. Family Fiolence Follow-up Team.
F.I.R.S.T. has kept its focus on responding to or preventing family violence, abuse and bullying in our community, but has expanded the F.I.R.S.T. Program areas.
